The Journey

From Corporate Trainer to Entrepreneur

Mubashir Ali's story is one of empathy turning into action. With his corporate training background and journalism degree, he could have sought another white-collar job when the pandemic hit. Instead, he noticed the plight of daily wage workers around himβ€”people who had lost everything overnight.

He saw LooCafe as more than a business opportunity; he saw it as a platform to create employment for those who needed it most. His LooCafe at Tank Bund, overlooking the beautiful Hussain Sagar Lake, now employs three workers who lost their jobs during COVID-19.

Mubashir personally trains them in customer service, hygiene practices, and financial management. He uses his corporate training skills to develop their confidence and communication abilities.

"I could have taken another corporate job," Mubashir reflects. "But this gives me something moreβ€”the ability to directly impact lives. Every person I employ is a family that's eating better, children who can stay in school."

He dreams of expanding to multiple units, creating a network of employment opportunities across Hyderabad.

"Every person I employ is a family that's eating better."
