250+ daily customers, legendary chai
From IT Professional to Entrepreneur
Sameer Syed spent over a decade in IT, climbing the corporate ladder while his true passionβmaking the perfect cup of chaiβremained a hobby. Every weekend, he'd experiment with tea blends, studying the art of chai-making from old masters in the city.
When he encountered LooCafe's model, he saw the perfect intersection: a business that would let him serve chai while providing a genuine community service. He quit his well-paying IT jobβa decision his family initially questioned.
His 'Kadak House' has become legendary in the area. Sameer sources premium tea leaves from Assam and Darjeeling, experiments with unique blends like masala chai with saffron, and has created a loyal customer base of 250+ daily visitors.
"My LooCafe isn't just a toilet," Sameer explains proudly. "It's become a neighborhood hangout where people come for my famous cutting chai and stay for the conversation. Office workers take their chai breaks here. Auto drivers have their morning tea. It's a community."
His specialty teas have gained such popularity that customers often request custom blends for their homes.
