Pullamma
Former Business Woman
Hyderabad
Women's empowerment champion, trained 3+ operators
From Business Woman to Entrepreneur
Pullamma always had an entrepreneurial spirit, but traditional business routes were closed to her due to lack of capital and connections. Banks wouldn't give loans to women from her background, and family resources were limited.
LooCafe's low-barrier entry model gave her the platform she needed. In just eight months, she's transformed her LooCafe into a model facility that other operators visit to learn best practices.
What sets Pullamma apart is her focus on women's empowerment. She actively recruits and trains young women from her neighborhood, teaching them business skills and financial literacy.
"I teach them everythingβhow to handle money, how to talk to customers, how to maintain accounts," Pullamma explains. "Many of these girls never learned these skills. Now they can run their own businesses."
Her LooCafe has become a training ground for future female entrepreneurs, with three of her trainees now running their own units. She's creating a ripple effect of women's empowerment in her community.
